Can you camp in Scandinavia, Alaska, Northern Canada, in the Summer — with “white nights” and midnight sun?

Living in the wilds of Northern British Columbia, we experience, during the summer we may see pretty much daylight all night long. There is usually roughly one or two hours that get darker. I’s not even really dark, more like a shade of grey. I wondered the same thing too, ’how the hell am I going to go to sleep when the sun is up most of the night. I’ve got that one down easy. I have insomnia; I was going to say no biggie, but that’s just not true. As soon as the sun rises, I can sleep all day, so you could say that it works just fine for me. I came north in 1989, but didn’t stop here, we went right up to Dawson City and panned on the Bonanza Creek. Amazing. I recall writing letters sitting in the car at midnight and the only light was natural. I have to admit though, that it did feel a little weird. The thing that made me really aware of it was when I was still drinking and going to the bar. You go in when it opens at noon, last call is 1:30 am, and they give you the boot at two. So,
