Yep, and I’m talking from experience. I bought and beat the entire game on the playstation 2 slim last year. It still works perfectly fine, just try and get them to make sure the disc (well 3 discs) there giving u are clean and in good shape since they are old and PS1 discs. I was having the same problem back when I had the regular playstation 2, so I went out and bought the slim. I have had it for about 4 years now and have had no problems at all with it. I had tons of problems with the old one, but with this one, 0. Honestly, not one issue and not one freeze that was related to the system and not a disc. So yes, this is my favorite game (one of them anyway) and would be very annoyed if my slim didn’t let me play it. But it did, so I was happy lol. Just keep in mind that u will need a PS1 memory card in order to save, u can’t use a PS2 memory card for ps1 games if u didn’t know. so if u don’t have one, you’ll need to get one. anyway, u can get the slim at gamestop or amazon.
