CANT GET MY PUPPY TO STOP BITING, I NEED HELP?

Wow! You have tried everything I would suggest. At this point, I don’t know what to tell ya. The dog is obviously still very much a puppy and what he is doing is play fighting. You are seeing it as aggression when in fact I doubt seriously it is. He is ‘playing’ with you like he would another dog. But this is not acceptable. The growling is playing so at this point stop thinking of this as aggression. He is not even 4 months old yet. He is FULL of himself. You have taught him some great things to be not even 4 months yet. He is teething BADLY right now and you do need for him to have some good chew toys. You said a few things that made my eyebrows go up. One is that the dog has never been hurt. That is good. But then you saide you don’t play fight with him (good, don’t want to use human hands in mouth of dog) or play tug of war. What DO you do with him besides teach him obedience and walk him? He wants to play. He ‘snaps’ in and out of it because he is a large breed puppy. They just go

It sounds like youve tried almost everything, and the classes next month may help. Remember hes still a teething puppy and be patient. A $15 course called “Dog Bite Prevention” is under the Top Ten Training Courses tab on site below and does have puppy biting info in it along with other info. It may have something in it youve overlooked. Good luck!

Try to put vinegar, this apple spray that you can buy at pet stores and bitter fluids on your hand, so when he bites he will most likely let go because dogs hate bitter things. Plus you have to consider that he is only a puppy and puppies usually bite because they are teething.
