That is one heavy, big and complicated master cylinder. I see that they cheapened up the car and made it better by 1930. David Hagberg David, As I mentioned, “non-asbestos flex molded” lining material is what you should look for. It has no brand name on it, but it’s sold by many brake material suppliers using that description. I don’t recommend bonding the linings to the shoes (heat activated adhesives). Make sure you get someone who has the proper equipment and is experienced in how to rivet new linings onto old brake shoes, then can also properly fit each lining to it’s drum. Label the shoes as to it’s brake drum location once they are fitted. I’ve had alot of complaints in the past few years from Franklin owners who had a local shop that said they could install the linings and then did it wrong only to have it done over some where else.
