chatter on this channel, whats wrong with my scanner, whats up with the frequency?…are signals getting crossed, or does someone else use the channel when its inactive?….
461.8375/466.8375 (PL 192.8) is the repeater referred to by the fire companies as the “township repeater”. This is the repeater used by the UMPD dispatch desk to contact fire units off the 800 system. It is sometimes used by fire company personnel to talk back and forth if they’re out of range for their simplex fireground channels. The business band frequency you’re asking about was submitted to the database by someone as an on-scene simplex channel for King of Prussia Fire Co. fire police.
