Information on companies can be found in annual reports, business directories, newspapers, and business magazines. Some of the larger corporations even have book-length company histories which may be located by searching DELCAT (e.g., keyword coca cola). It is much easier to find information on public companies than it is on small private companies. To find magazine and newspaper articles, search Business & Company Resource Center and LexisNexis Academic. To find company profiles, use business directories, such as Hoover’s Handbook of American Business located on the shelves near the Reference Desk (Ref HD2709 .H66). Profiles can also be found in LexisNexis Academic; select “Business”, then “Company Financial…”.
