Ans: The school disallows private tuition or attending coaching classes of any sort. Eklavyas philosophy is that tuitions are harmful rather than helpful to children and hamper and hinder the childs progress in an irremediable fashion. The child taking tuitions becomes dependent on these `crutches and after some time cannot do without them. This causes immense loss of self esteem and self confidence. Eklavya expects parents and children to work together towards the academic goal. Educators are not allowed to take private tuition whether it is for students of Eklavya School or others. Parents are requested to bring cases of Eklavya educators/children taking tuition to the notice of the Principal. Students are disallowed from receiving tuition – from Eklavya educators or others. Eklavya believes that the best tuition is for parents to work together with the child. In case a parent feels that her ward has a specific need for special assistance, she must contact the Principal in this regar
