computer connect to a wireless network?
Although for reliability and ease we highly recommend a wired connection between your computer and router (the box that would be sent from your internet provider which plugs into the telephone socket), it is possible to use the simplicity computer with wireless (or “WiFi”) networking. Wireless networking works best when the computer is placed as close to the router as possible, with as few walls as possible in between. Thick or numerous walls can diminish the wireless signal. In order enable your simplicity computer with wireless networking, you will need to order a wireless dongle. We sell such a dongle that we have tested and found to work well with the Linux operating system. These are available at £19.95 plus postage and packing.(See order form for more information).
