Contacts created on my Sony Ericsson P990i are not synchronizing correctly?

0

If you create a new contact on your Sony Ericsson P990i, and then synchronize using Mobile Gateway, you may find that your new contact is not synchronized to Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Access correctly. For example, if you enter a new contact on your Sony Ericsson P990i: First Name: John Second Name: Smith Phone: 0123456789 Business Phone: 0987654321 Following synchronization, you may find the following contact on Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Access: First Name: John Second Name: Smith Other Phone: 0987654321 Business Phone: 0123456789 This behavior is caused by the different ways that the Sony Ericsson P990i handles phone numbers in contrast to Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Access. The Sony Ericsson P990i is capable of storing multiple phone numbers per type (HOME, WORK, FAX), while Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Access is not. Microsoft Exchange 2007 Web Access regards any additional number as “OTHER”, this causes a loss of type information, for example: 2nd WORK > OTHER, 3rd WORK > OTHER
