Could anyone suggest the best place in Australia to move to with small children?
Brisbane *We have a beautfull climate- not too hot in summer, not too cold in winter *We have an excellent choice of (public and private) schools and universities *There are several really good widlife sanctuaries either in Brisbane or really close by- Australia Zoo, Alma Park Zoo, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary *There is a really good, comprehensive public transport system (trains, buses and ferries) * Lamington National Park is just 2 hours drive away and it is DIVINE. Seriously, you won’t want to leave, the rainforest is just so lush *The Gold Coast is just an hour and a half drive south, and the Sunshine Coast (my personal favourite) is about the same distance to the north I could go on and on and on… South Bank in the city is a wonderful place for those small (or just small at heart!), the regualr APT kids displays at the art gallery are soooo much fun, I take my kids, and my nieces and nephews, and my friends kids, and well, any excuse I can find to go!
