Could Barnets OFlynn be back on the Radar?
LINCOLN could be about to re-enter the chase for striker John O’Flynn after Bristol City decided not to offer the 28-year-old Irishman a contract despite impressing on their tour of Sweden. The Cobh-born frontman, who has scored 34 goals in two seasons for Barnet, is out of contract at Underhill and was offered a trial by Robins boss Steve Coppell, who said at the time: ‘John’s been around for a little while. I’ve watched him at the same time I was looking at Kevin Doyle and Shane Long. ‘He’s a good finisher and has scored goals at Barnet consistently. This is an opportunity for him and it’s nice to have people around the squad who are hungry.
