Absolutely, however, there are some differences. Because, thank goodness, mysis have never invaded Blue Mesa, the zooplankton food supply is abundant and growth of kokanee (and rainbow) is very good. But, the number and size of lake trout at Blue Mesa appear to exceed that at Granby so lake trout predation is a very real threat to kokanee.
