Customize vs. Out-Of-The-Box?
There are many things to consider when putting together a GIS solution. Such considerations are number of users, the ability to customize, performance of application, and development time. If you have many users and would like to incorporate proprietary data into public data, you probably want a custom GIS application. If however you will have few users and not require special reports or graphs, an out-of-the-box solution might be best for you.
