Cypress has obsoleted several families of Programmable Logic devices (PLDs). Does Atmel offer equivalent replacements?

Yes. Atmel offers replacement Simple Programmable Logic Devices [SPLDs] (pin- and JEDEC-compatible with Cypress PALCEs) and various CPLD products to replace Cypress devices. For example: PALC22V10/PALCE22V10 Series from Cypress was replaced by Atmel’s ATF22V10C Series of SPLDs ATMEL CPLDs are functionally equivalent to the FLASH370i, 5V CPLD as well as the Ultra 37000 family of CPLDS (both 5 V and 3.3 V).
