MS: Absolutely. Based on the feedback we received from the triathletes we were working with at USAT, we recognized that the geometry had to be changed to allow for a range of positioning that was conducive specifically to triathlon. It needed to have precise handling while still being able to track well at higher speeds while on the aero bars. It needed to climb well, needed to be lightweight, and yet be as structurally efficient as possible to transfer all of the riders input into forward motion. And it had to do having a harsh ride that would prematurely fatigue the rider. Sounds simple, right? But that’s what athletes need to be successful so that’s what we set out to build. What makes the frame different from the others out there? MS: I think we’re probably the first and only company that has spent as much time considering the aerodynamic interactions between the bike and rider in an effort to produce an overall system that creates the least drag possible.
