I also noticed that the Pats didn’t have the #21 on their helmets and wanted to chalk that up to typical Bill Belichick but, despite my dislike for the Patriots, I must be fair… Neither the Colts nor the Ravens sported the #21 in their SNF game. I believe that, after very strong encouragement from the NFL for all players to honor Sean Taylor in the week after his death, it is now optional whether or not to have the #21 decal on their helmets.
