Did Irans president get idea of Israel in Europe on Sports Pages?
As most people know by now, Iran’s “president” Mahmoud Ahmadinejad recently called for Israel’s destruction, and subsequently demanded that Israel be moved to Europe. In the latter demand, Mr. Ahmadinejad merely suggested a course of action to realize a world view that is evidently shared by the International Olympic Committee. Maybe Mr. Ahmadinejad, while checking the sports pages in his favorite newspaper, came across the position of the International Olympic Committee, and thought they had a pretty good idea. Mr. Ahmadinejad has received widespread criticism for his view of the world. What’s puzzling to me is that the International Olympic Committee does not seem to have received the same level of criticism for expressing the same point of view.
