Did our taste buds adapt to the taste of certain kinds of food or did God create great tasting things?

There are plenty of things which are edible but are not the first choice of things to consume. Then, there are others things which can only be consumed when we change the temperature of them which in turn changes what it tastes like.If things were created to just taste great, then why is it that not everything edible tastes great but yet is edible? And, why would some like one food whilst others like another and not everyone agrees about what tastes good? Then, of course, there are great tasting things that some are allergic to.This sounds less and less like something an all powerful God is responsible for and more about the evolution of life and the development of consumption which is passed on through genetics, traditions, and trial and error.
