Do all foreign students at UML take ESL courses?
No. Please dont assume that a foreign student is in misplaced in a non-International College Writing course. On the same note, I dont particularly like to give this reminder, and, for the most part, I think it is unnecessary, but: it is important to keep in mind that students with foreign-sounding names, or foreign-looking students (however one might attempt to define such ill-conceived notions) may very well be native born in the U.S., or may have advanced skills in English.
