Do all of the poems from montage fall into one conclusion?
I think that all of the poems in Montage all have a similar conclusion. They all are about dreams being deferred. Although some of the poems may seem, not to make any sense, there is a reason for this. Montage of a Dream Deferred is all about many peoples dreams getting put off. Well, the section of the book is called a ” Montage of a Dream Deferred” so i would say it has somewhat of a simular conclusion. The conclusion of most poems in the book are how blaks are sick of how they are being treated badly by the whites and how theri dream deferred is bringing their hopes and dreams down. Most of the poems in my opinion are related to a dream deferred because most people dream of getting big money and a nice home. Others may conclude to a description of love because the narrator wishes for something to happen in their dreams. The poems from montage generally fall all into dreams being deferred but each in a different form and level. Thats why he broke up his poems up into themes. But they
