Do all questions carry the same point value? Try attempts?
No. Each question can be assigned a different point value, a different number of try attempts and even a different number of incorrect answer attempts before a hint will show. These values are assigned by the instructor. • Do I lose a try attempt for incorrect units or significant figures? No. If you forget to use units, or enter the wrong units or number of significants figures, you will not lose a try attempt. CAPA will only check your numerical answer if units and sigfigs are correct. • Do multiple choice and true/false answers need to be in CAPITAL LETTERS? Yes. Also, do not leave spaces or place commas between letters. • Do multiple choice answers need to be in alphabetical order? Yes. When prompted to “Choose all correct statements”, you must enter your answer alphabetically. This is because CAPA interprets your answer as text and compares it with the correct answer.
