Do all synthetic FR fluids have equivalent fire resistance performance?
No. Fire resistance performance differs significantly. Fyrquel triaryl phosphate esters have superior fire resistance since they are self-extinguishing and difficult to ignite. On the other hand, non phosphate ester type fluids like Polyol ester (POE) and polyol ether aka polyalkylene glycols (PAG) synthetic fluids continue self-sustained burning once ignited. View a short video demonstration showing the self-extinguishing key advantage of Fyrquel triaryl phosphate ester fluids.
