Do Alps and Beyond trips stay in high-quality inns and hotels?
We stay in three- and four-star, clean and comfortable hotels. All rooms have private bathrooms and, with the exception of more modest mountain hotels, telephone, television and mini-bars. The rooms are smaller than is standard in the U.S., but you won’t lack for comfort. On some trips we overnight in mountain huts, where rooms are co-ed and dormitory-style with bunk beds or platforms with mattresses. Bathrooms are on the floor and have only washing basins. Generally, no showers are available.
