Do any of the female species in the animal kingdom have clitoris in the reproductive organ?

All female mammals have a clitoris. The clitoris of the female spotted hyena is enlarged to almost exactly the same size and shape as the male’s penis – it’s often called a pseudopenis – and this species is obliged to mate and give birth through it, as the entrance to the vagina is blocked by fatty lumps called pseudotestes. These features serve to make the sexual organs of females look very similar to those of males – indeed, spotted hyenas were once thought to be hermaphrodites! Here’s an image: http://www.eurekalert.org/multimedia/pub… The other hyena species, the striped hyena and brown hyena, do not have these unusual adaptations – the genitals of females of these species are ‘normal’. The spotted hyena is the only animal in which the clitoris serves a function other than pleasure.
