Do astronauts ever get claustrophobic on the space shuttle?

0

ANSWER from Mike Hembree on April 9, 1997: As far as I know, the astronauts do not get claustrophobic on the space shuttle. Although the living area in the shuttle is rather small, they get used to it very quickly. The best way I can describe it is to compare it to living in a medium sized camper for a couple of weeks and not being able to go outside. Return to top.
