Do bunnies or any animal with red eyes see in pink/red?
Animals with pink or red eyes are merely albino, meaning they lack melanin (amelanistic), which is what makes your skin tan after you’ve been out in the sun. Albinism is a rare genetic trait that usually extinguishes in natural family lines due to natural selection (how well would that white rat with red eyes be able to hide in a field before a hawk saw him?). While humans can also have albinism, the human eye is usually not pink or red. Although vision is typically poor, especially in humans, there is no evidence readily available to support the claim that their vision is tinted, which supports the hypothesis that rats or other animals probably do not see a tinted image either.
