Do certain samples require more time to analyze than others?

0

Samples of non-friable organically bound (NOB) materials like vinyl asbestos floor tiles, mastics or roofing tars require additional pre-treatment with a solvent or preparation in a furnace. If samples are wet or damp, this is indicated on the Chain of Custody at the point of submission. Our lab is equipped with a special oven that can dry the material quickly however extra time is required for this additional procedure to take place.
