Do colleges look at a softball pitchers high school record?

You’re record isn’t the only thing they look at. If you were a first baseman, they wouldn’t just look at your batting average. They’d look at all of your statistics and they’d watch you play in person. When they come to a game, they’ll see how you do. You can tryout for a summer league team. Scouts will look at you there and the players are much better than an average high school team.

Relax you are only a freshemen. The NCAA rules state that teams can’t have contact with a player until they are one day into their junior year. Colleges do mostly look at teams that are “good” but they still look other teams. Anyways you still have 3 more years to build your program. You might also want to work on playing other positions, colleges do want players that can play multiple positions. Also work on hitting, it’s always good to be a good hitter. I’m only a sophmore and I’m working hard to hopefully get a scholarship within the next couple of years to play for a D-1 college. You should also get good grades, work very hard at getting your grades as high as you possibly can. Not all of getting into a good college is your play on the field, you do have to do your school part. It’s always good to practice as much as you can.
