Newer model cordless phones operating in the frequency band of 3-5ghz (higher than mobile phones), have the potential for high radiation output in the microwave frequency level. Since cordless phone users tend to stay on calls for extended periods because they are not timed calls, their exposure to radiation may be considerable.
