Do golf coaches only recruit players in their own state?
Many coaches do recruit players from in-state because they have more opportunity to see them play. It is important to get your name out to coaches that are out of your home state. When a coach goes on a recruiting trip they tend to look for players they have seen come across their desk. Hopefully the coach will like what he/she sees on the profile and will come watch you play a few holes.
