They reproduce sexually. After teh female lays the eggs, most of the young grasshoppers life is lived in those eggs, untill it goes through the stages of larvae. After the larvil stages, it lives a month or so as a nymph, or young grasshopper. After reaching full adulthood they live up to about three months, then die.
