Do I have whiplash or a pulled neck ligament?

Whiplash doesn’t last this long…it’s a temporary condition. Also, the pain in your feet is not related to your neck. If there was spinal cord compression in the neck that was severe enough to cause lower extremity problems, you would also have problems with your upper extremities…so don’t fret about that. I do think that you would benefit from Chiropractic care. Just make sure that they do x-rays before they start treatment. When you go to see your father’s orthopedist, ask if he thinks that physical therapy would be another good option for you. In the meantime, try to rest your neck as much as possible. Apply ice 2-3 times a day for no more than 20 minutes at a time. Also, take an OTC anti-inflammatory like Advil or Motrin. It will help with the muscle swelling and pain. Feel better soon!
