Do I need a license and/or permit to sell name trains at arts & crafts festivals or as a street vendor in Arizona?
To receive a license to become a street vendor, you should set up an appointment with Arizona License Services by calling (602) 262-4638 between 8am and 5pm M-F. The license fee is $160 + a $29 background check fee. The license is good for 1 fiscal year. If you wish to renew your license, you must do so after the 5th business day in April and before the last business day in April. The renewal fee is $160. When applying, you will need to provide your name and all names you have gone by, business name, business address, business mailing address, business phone, be able to briefly describe what you are selling (wooden trains with names), if you are going to be using a vehicle to sell your wares, if you are using a vehicle you will need to provide the license plate number, state of insurance, proof of insurance, registration, photograph of the vehicle and an Arizona drivers license.
