No, you do not need the Recreational Commercial Gear License if you are not using commercial gear recreationally and you are staying within the following recreational harvest limits: 1) 100 clams/day not to exceed 200 clams/vessel/day; or 2) 1 bushel of oysters/day not to exceed 2 bushels/vessel/day; or 3) ½ bushel bay scallops/day not to exceed 1 bushel/vessel/day; or 4) 50 crabs/day not to exceed 100 crabs/vessel/day; or 5) 10 conchs/day not to exceed 20 conchs/vessel/day; or 6) 100 mussels/day not to exceed 200 mussels/vessel/day.
