No, Windows Vista Media Center does not require analog TV Tuner to receive ATSC TV signal. However, it is a requirement for Windows XP Media Center 2005. Windows Media center in the XP version does not support a digital tuner by itself; unfortunately that’s what this tuner is. It must be accompanied by an analog tuner in order for Media Center to recognize. This is a limitation of Microsoft and there is no way around it except get an alalog tuner to co-exist with it.
