Do I need to be a native English speaker to enroll in any of Ontesol.com’s courses?
No. Absolutely not. Non-native speakers are more than welcome. In fact, a large percentage of our online student-teachers in the various courses we offer are non-native speakers of English from a variety of countries : Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey, Bulgaria, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, India, Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, The Philippines, Malaysia, Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Mexico and Colombia. Non-native speakers should possess a high standard of both written and spoken English. Please see Language proficiency requirements. You will be contacted via email by our staff as part of the application process. Your level of proficiency and the requirements to apply for external accreditations (ACTDEC and TESL Canada) will be discussed then.
