Do I need to filter the gas going into my flowmeter?

0

Yes. These flowmeters use a tiny sensor element exposed to the gas stream. If this sensor becomes contaminated, the accuracy can be permanently changed and the sensor may be damaged. A HEPA grade filter is included with your flowmeter. This filter should ALWAYS be used upstream of the flowmeter. IMPORTANT: Your flowmeter will remain stable and accurate if it is always presented with clean gas.
