Do Indian people eat hamburgers at McDonalds in India?
Mc Donald’s in INDIA: Makes chicken or veg burgers only, BEEF is illegal. Possibly in Delhi, they will make lamb burgers. That is the deal the McD’s corp made with the Indian govt. Indians in India do not eat tacos, they eat Indian food (rice, dals, sabjis, rotis….). Indians in this country: most dont eat beef or pork, they usually do eat chicken or fish. Most Indians in the US, remain vegetarian. The Big Mac is called Maharaja Burger (it is either made using chicken patties or veg patties). The French Fries are tossed with a little spices. The chicken nuggets are served with a variety of Indian sauces and condiments. For the avg Indian, McD’s is very very expensive. They also believe the food is processed, not fresh, overpriced and not healthy (which is all true). McD’s in India is mostly packed with Americans who miss the taste of home!
