Do Minivan Air Conditioning Problems Usually Recur?

Garage Door Openers Air Conditioner Repair Air Conditioner Filters Portable Air Conditioners Question: I’m preparing to buy a used minivan, but the air conditioning is broken. I want to get it repaired, but am worried the problem may continually recur. Answer: It shouldn’t re-occur if the job is done right. Check prices on a compressor, accumulator, and expansion valve, plus the shop rate and recharging of the system. It should add up to about $900.00 or more. If the van is in good shape, (take it to a third party for a chassis and brake inspection), and if you’re satisfied and willing to spend the extra cash for A/C, then go for it. My mother has a minivan. At one point the air conditioning got messed up. This problem was supposedly fixed. It now only seems to occur if we are driving for over 2 hours strait. It definitely should not recur if all of the faulty components are replaced and if it’s repaired the right way. There’s no reason for it to recur if there’s nothing faulty left in
