Do Pagans conduct sacrifices?
Some ancient pagan religions practiced blood sacrifices to please their gods, however the texts of the Old Testament and Hebrew religious texts show that human and animal sacrifices were also part of ancient Judaism/Christianity. Obviously these practices no longer occur in the Jewish and Christian traditions, and likewise none of the Pagan beliefs practice any form of sacrifice. It should be remembered that all Pagans revere nature and respect all living things. To most Pagans the thought of harming another living creature is horrendous.
