Do people even realise what a Tory Government would do to this Country?
Sorry. I agree with you on some subjects but on this one I have to disagree. The Tories fixed the country last time they came to power after an incompetent Labour government and they will do it again this time. We need a complete reversall of everything Labour have done in 12 years to get the country back on its feet and economically strong again.
I would like ask how much in debt the questioner is, because you cannot keep spending money you do not have. Gordon Brown has put this country in dire debt for the next 30 years we are told, if that is prudent then of course the moon is made of cheese. I believe a Tory government is the only party that can bring this country back from the brink, as in 1979, from once again a Labour government.
A labour government has never done any good for Britain. Thatcher took the shambles of the former labour government and turned Britain around. Love her or hate her she was one of the best Prime ministers we ever had. Much better to sleepwalk into a Tory government than to actively drum up support for another disaster.
Well we slept through 12 years of Labour lies and look what we have woken to. What people don’t seem to grasp is that recession is a global phenomenon, Labour are as much to blame for this recession as the Tories were for the previous. Where Labour failed this Country was the fact that the cupboard was bare, as they had wasted all the big tax revenues that they got during the time when the global economy was booming, to ease us through this one without having to borrow massively. Labour accuse the Tories of not having any policies but you seem to know quite a few. The Tories will not cut any taxes until they get us out of the quagmire Labour has put us in. As for your unemployment statistics, only 72.5% of people that are of working age actually work, and god knows how many of them work part-time and are jobs created by the Public Sector. http://www.statistics.gov.uk/cci/nugget.
