They shouldn’t attract any more wild animals than any other pet would. I have 4 rats and haven’t had any wild mouse/rat problems due to their presence. We used to have mice in our garage, though. But I’m pretty sure they were there before I got my rats. Also, I really doubt your rat would attack anything without reason.
