Do rook piercings hurt?
I have one. Yes, they hurt, but it’s not excruciating. I thought my bellybutton piercing hurt more. It did hurt more than ear lobes though. It’s a piercing and it’s going to hurt – resign yourself to that fact. It’s not too bad in my opinion, but don’t go into it thinking you won’t feel a thing, because you will. Cartilage piercings are moody too, so be prepared for the sleep adjustments and frequent irritation/itchiness that may come with the healing. Cartilage takes a full year to heal. So just be prepared. I love mine though, I think it’s worth it.
