XP5 uses a different protocol from XP10 and therefore the native support in Virtual DJ for XP10 doesn’t work with XP5.We provide bot a MIDI driver and a MIDI mapper to make XP5 work with different software in the market. The MIDI driver has to be installed first. In the MIDI mapper there are button presets at the moment for Traktor and Deckadance (we are working on building more support). To create more button configurations please use the MIDI mapper and save the configurations in the mapper. This allows quick switching between different software. This way it is possible to easily create TKS (button config) files also for Virtual DJ. Please refer to quick start guide for more information.
