Do the new technology engines exhaust any unburned fuel into the water?
New technology 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines trap all incoming fuel in the combustion chamber and expose it to the combustion process. This ensures that the fuel is efficiently burned in the combustion process. Due to the fact that no combustion process can be 100% efficient, very small amounts of hydrocarbons are exhausted from the new technology 2-strokes and 4-strokes.
