Do Witches perform magick while in the nude?
98% of them never do (especialy Traditionals). Being nude in front of your deities is considered rude and inconsiderate. Some Wiccans, on the other hand, do practice in the nude or “skyclad” (meaning literally “robed by the sky”). They consider nudeness to be a more direct link to Mother Earth. Witches wear either normal street clothes, robes, body paint, their pajamas or whatever else they deem appropriate, but they are always covered in some way. Wiccans tend to make a huge (and very much not-needed) deal about practicing either nude or with strictly robes or “ritual” clothing on (no “regular” clothes). Way back when, Witches didn’t own “special” robes to do their spellwork in. They just did it, no matter their attire, certain herb, candle color or jewelry.
