Do you do just self-defence training without the belts and other martial arts trappings?

Although we believe that all aspects of HupKwonDo are geared towards practical self-defence, we also realize that not everyone is interested in the uniforms, belt levels and other more traditional martial arts aspects of HupKwonDo. Because of this we offer the option of only attending our monthly self-defence workshops. All classes include basic techniques and drills (blocking, dodging, counter-attacking etc.) which will benefit you whether or not your aspirations include a black belt. Monthly Monday self-defence workshops focus on releases, escapes, ground techniques and other self-defence applications. Regular weekly classes may also cover these techniques, but add HupKwonDo patterns, free sparring and other elements primarily of interest to the martial art student.
