Would explicitly not be permitted in cases of purely mental illness to protect depressives, schizophrenics, etc. the person has sworn an affidavit to the effect they wish to be permitted to euthanize themselves and they have been declared mentally competent to so swear all reasonable efforts have been made to protect the person concerned from influence by individuals who would benefit from their death such as beneficiaries of their will or estate.
