Do you think fashion journalists play an important role in society, culture and individualism? Why or why not?
Deffinetly we live in a world where people are judged on a daily basis just from what they’re wearing. In society there are still different class’s, like say someone with a high class title. He or she would be expected to have a certain image & if they don’t people can belittle them. It’s actually kind of sad in what a materialistic world we live in. Don’t get me wrong I love fashion & it’s always going to be a passion of mine, but some people sort of abuse it in a sense. As far as culture goes fashion journalists play a key role in, but not in all countries like in some middle east countries its seen as something negative. There’s no doubt fashion journalists play a role in individualism as well. However they might not play a role in inspiring people to also make their own trends.
