Although I do believe in a lot of natural remedies and alternative therapies, this is one that is pure bunk. If you look into the history of the “doctor” who first developed the theory (Franz Mesmer) you will see that there is no scientific or natural basis for the benefits. All that is there is quackery and a desire to make money from selling magnets. This continues today. There is a lot to be said about placebos. And the brain is powerful. So if someone believes that it works, then great for them! For something like pain which we usually want to eliminate, then if this seems to work for someone, I would not want to kill that effect for them. But I do believe that you can control pain yourself without paying money for things like magnetic bracelets.
